FAQ
-
Not at all. Knox welcomes people of all faith backgrounds, those exploring faith, and those who are simply curious. You are welcome wherever you are on your journey.
-
Yes, fully and joyfully. Knox has been Calgary's first Affirming congregation since 2007. We celebrate and affirm the full humanity of all 2S & LGBTQIA+ people, in worship, leadership, marriage, and every aspect of community life. Our GLITTER RAINBOW wall is our visible declaration of this commitment.
-
Just show up! Greeters will be at the main entrance on 6 Avenue about 15 minutes before the service. They'll hand you a bulletin and help you find a seat. No registration or sign-in required.
-
An offering is taken during the service, but it is entirely optional and there is no pressure or expectation for visitors. We want you to feel welcome, not obligated.
-
Absolutely. Infants and toddlers are warmly welcomed in the sanctuary. There is a quiet space at the back if needed. Kidspace is available every Sunday for children ages 3 through Grade 9.
-
Yes. The building is wheelchair accessible via the 4 Street entrance (Knox Centre). Accessible washrooms are available. Please call ahead if you have specific needs.

You are so welcome. Many people at Knox are spiritual seekers, doubters, and questioners. We love questions. Come, observe, and see if it resonates. No commitment required.
Still have questions? We’d love to hear from you.
