Knox United Church's historic sanctuary is one of Calgary's most breathtaking wedding venues, soaring vaulted ceilings, magnificent stained glass, and the resonant tones of our Casavant pipe organ create an atmosphere of timeless beauty and sacred celebration.
As an Affirming congregation, we joyfully solemnize marriages for all couples, same-sex, opposite-sex, and all loving partnerships. Our ministers will work with you to craft a ceremony that is personal, meaningful, and true to who you are.
What We Offer

Pastoral Care
Our ministers will meet with you for pre-wedding counselling and preparation, helping you craft a ceremony that reflects your values, your faith journey, and your love.
Pipe Organ & Music
Our magnificent Casavant pipe organ can accompany your ceremony, as can our concert grand piano. We also welcome outside musicians. Our music director is available to assist with planning.

Beautiful Space
The Knox sanctuary has a capacity for up to 654 people and offers a stunning heritage backdrop, stained glass, vaulted ceilings, and warm stone. A truly unforgettable setting. The sanctuary and our Glitter Rainbow wall make for extraordinary wedding photos.

Getting Started
How it works
1 Reach Out
Contact our church office at (403) 269-8382 or office@kxcalgary.com to express your interest. We'll connect you with one of our ministers to discuss your vision and check availability.
2 Pre-Wedding Meetings
You'll meet with your officiant to discuss the ceremony, readings, music, and any personal elements you'd like to include. We want your ceremony to feel uniquely yours.
3 Ceremony Planning
We'll work with you on the order of service, music coordination, and any special requests. A rehearsal is scheduled in advance of the wedding day.
4 Your Wedding Day
Our staff will be on-site to ensure everything runs beautifully. You focus on your love, we'll take care of the rest.
