Volunteer for Knox Carol Festival
Join us for the Knox Carol Festival, a celebration of music, community, and the holiday season. Volunteers help welcome guests, support choir performances, and assist with the Christmas Night Market. Be part of this annual tradition that brings people together while supporting the Calgary Food Bank.

Choir Runner
Supports the smooth operation of the Carol Festival by coordinating the movement of choir groups throughout the event. This role ensures choirs are guided efficiently from their waiting areas to the stage, helping performances begin on schedule.

Door Monitor
Helps maintain a quiet environment by managing audience access to the performance venue. This role ensures doors remain closed during choir performances and are opened between performances to allow guests to enter and exit with minimal disruption.

Front of House Host
Creates a warm, welcoming, and organized experience for all guests, performers, and volunteers attending the Carol Festival. This role serves as a friendly point of contact, providing directions, answering questions, and helping ensure the event runs smoothly.

Market Host
Creates a welcoming and well-organized Christmas Market by assisting vendors with setup, greeting guests, and providing excellent customer service throughout the Carol Festival. This role serves as a friendly point of contact for vendors and visitors while helping resolve issues as they arise.

Snack Bar Host
Provides friendly and efficient service to festival guests by selling snacks and beverages throughout the Carol Festival. This role helps create a positive guest experience by ensuring the snack bar is welcoming, organized, and well-stocked.

Stage Assistant
Supports the safe and efficient operation of the Carol Festival by assisting performers and the stage crew during performances. This role helps ensure smooth transitions between choirs, provides assistance to performers, and supports the movement of stage equipment.

Opportunity Knox
The primary role of Opportunity Knox (OK) is to ensure there is an open and transparent process for filling vacant volunteer leadership positions. We strive to provide applicants with knowledge of the position and to match skills and interests with available opportunities. Knox is looking for leaders to advance and evolve the mission of the church.
